Day 1: MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY:
In the morning, our agency driver will pick you up from your accommodation and leave Marrakech towards Dades Gorge. Crossing the high Atlas Mountains via Tizi-in-Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), with stops for panoramic views and take your lifetime shoots of the Berber villages and their beautiful landscape. By the afternoon we will arrive at one of Morocco's most famous and historic sites, Kasbah of Ait Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and a place where many international movies were filmed including, Game of Throne and Gladiator. After having lunch at one of the local restaurants in the Kasbah, we drive to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Film studio, where many popular movies have been filmed such as; Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, etc.). Then have a short walk at the Kasbah of Taourirt, the most impressive fortification in Morocco. After, we drive to Dades Gorges passing through the Skoura valley route known as the valley of thousand kasbahs and “Roses Valley”, famous for its rose water, and artisanal distillation factories. In the late afternoon, we will reach Dades Valley where you will spend the night in a hotel.
