Day 1: Marrakech Airport Pick up – Transfer to your Hotel: 

When you arrive at Marrakech Airport, our driver will meet you and take you to your hotel.  Once you reach your accommodation, you can relax and get ready to start  this 12 Days Grand Tour from Marrakech

Day 2: Full To Explore Marrakech With Local Guide : 

Today our official guide will take you in a sightseeing journey in Marrakech. You will be accompanied with a local guide with whom you will explore the fascinating cultural and historic sites. Such as Saadian tombs, The Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Koranic school. visit the Koutoubia tower and the famous Majorelle gardens. Lunch will in one of the local restaurants near the Jamaa Lefna squar.

Later, you will wander the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Where you will find traditional clothes, Berber carpets, and much more. You will have free time to play your haggling craft in the old souk of the medina in the evening before going back to your Riad for the overnight.

Day 3: Marrakech – Tizi N Tichka Pass – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley: 

In the morning, our  driver will pick you up from your accommodation and leave Marrakech towards Dades Gorge. Crossing the high Atlas Mountains via Tizi-in-Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), with stops for panoramic views and take your lifetime shoots of the Berber villages and their beautiful landscape. By the afternoon we will arrive at one of Morocco’s most famous and historic sites, Kasbah of Ait Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and a place where many international movies were filmed including, Game of Throne and Gladiator.

After having lunch at one of the local restaurants in the Kasbah, we drive to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Film studio, where many popular movies have been filmed such as; Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, etc.). Then have a short walk at the Kasbah of Taourirt, the most impressive fortification in Morocco. After, we drive to Dades Gorges passing through the Skoura valley route known as the valley of thousand kasbahs and “Roses Valley”, famous for its rose water, and artisanal distillation factories. In the late afternoon, we will reach Dades Valley where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Toudgha Valley – Arfoud – Merzouga Desert :

In the morning, after having breakfast, you will have time to wander the impressive Dades valley before we drive towards the Sahara Desert. We will drive through Dades valley, a green oasis full of palm trees and farmers. The first stop will be in Tinghir to visit Toudgha Gorges, the famous canyons that reach about 300m high. It is considered a popular destination for rock climbers, also Moroccan families enjoy a picnic by its river. Here you will have a chance to walk along the river and take some pictures before we continue our trip.

The second stop will be in Tinjdad for lunchtime. After that, we’ll carry on to Jorf village, where you explore underground irrigation System. Then to Arfod city, known for its fossils. From there we’ll drive to the Merzouga desert. On the way on this 12 Days Grand Tour from Marrakech, you will catch the magnificent sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in North Africa. The sight of them unexpectedly rising from the desert bottom never ceases to amaze you.

 In the late afternoon we will arrive in the amazing land of sand dunes of Merzouga where you will spend the night in the hotel nearby the dunes and enjoy the sunset view from the middle of the dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert – Visit Berber Families – Camel Trekking – Overnight Desert Camp

Today will be totally nomadic day. After having breakfast in your hotel. Our agency will take you in an explorative journey of the desert. You will be taken by 4×4 vehicle and head to the deep desert. Drive through rally Dakar rout toward the nomad families who are still living in traditional tents in the middle of the Sahara Desert. you set with them, and you will be hosted by a cup of tea (Berber whisky) and they will tell you about their daily life.

Then, continue our way to the deep desert to visit old mines that once used to be exploited by the French. Afterward, we will head to Khamlia village where black Berber people who are originally from Sudan and Mali live. Here you will be entertained with authentic instruments Gnaoua music.

After spending an enjoyable moment with Gnaoua, here you will have a traditional Berber Pizza for lunch time. Later, you will back to your hotel for rest and get ready for camel trekking activity. On the afternoon, you will ride your camel across the high Erg-Chebbi dunes. You will see a magnificent sunset on top of a high dune. You will have time to take pictures and watch the sunset before arriving to desert camp. After having delicious dinner, you will be entertained by Berber music played by local nomads under a starry sky. overnight will be at camp.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Arfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes: 

Today you should Wake up early morning, to enjoy the beauty of the sunrise in the desert. After having breakfast, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga. Where you meet our driver and drive to Fes. The first stop will be at the RISSANI market, where local people buy and sell vegetables, species, traditional clothing, and livestock. Here you’ll have a chance to visit the local souk.

After that, we will visit Erfoud, famous for its fossilized marbles. Visit the cooperative fossils before heading to Ziz Valley, where we’ll stop to take your shoots of its panoramic views. lunch in time will be in Midelt. Later, we will continue to Azrou and take pictures of wild monkeys in the Cedarwoods forest. Proceed to Fes via Ifrane. Our driver will drop you at your accommodation in Fes.

Day 7: Full Day To Explore Fes With A local Guide

Today of this 12 Days Tour From Marrakech will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual city of Morocco with a local guide. After having breakfast, you will meet your local guide and start to sightsee the old medina from the outside. Admiring a beautiful panoramic view of the medina from the tombs of Merenids. Then continue by discovering the surrounding parts, covering the most important sites inside the city, Admiring the city’s pretty fountains, the mosaic Nejjarine Fountain, Tour the Medersas (Koranic schools), dating back to the 13th century.

Afterward, you will wander inside the narrow streets lined with intricately woven Berber carpets, and many other arts and craft objects of Morocco, visit the ceramics Cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts, the big Chouara Tanneries, Medersa Seffarin where metal and other decorated architectural masterpieces are made traditionally. Overnight in your Riad.

Day 8: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefcaouen: 

Our driver will pick you up after having breakfast at your riad in Fes. Then, drive to Meknes, explore the beautiful medina and admire its magnificent doors like; Bab Mansour, a huge gate mosaic tile, and the vast Heri es-Souani; a complex that once housed stables and food warehouses. Then visit the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl Palace. The second stop will be in the UNESCO World Heritage of Volubilis, Roman ruins, you will explore it with a local guide as you will have pictures of the stunning partially excavated mosaics, monuments, arches, and columns. 

This journey continues to Chefchaouen. We will drive through the Rif Mountains and Ouazzan, stopping along the route to take in the expansive views, gorgeous scenery, and fresh air. To go to the blue city, we’ll need to travel for around 4 hours. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Chefchaouen nad you will check into your hotel for the night.

Day 9: Full Day in Chefchaouen: 

Today you will free to explore and enjoy the beauty of this Blue city. Chefchaouen is referred to as “The Blue Pearl” because it is encircled by tall, beautiful walls that are painted blue. This shade of blue has roots in the 15th century, a time when Jews escaping the Spanish Inquisition swarmed the city of Chefchaouen. You’ll have to navigate the city’s winding, steeply sloping streets, where there are photo opportunities around every bend.

In the center of Medina, Plaza Uta El-Hammam will be your first stop. a serene area surrounded by cafés and eateries. There, you may view the artistic creations in recently opened galleries. You will also get the opportunity to see the Grand Mosque, the Ras Elma River, which flows through the old city, and the Ethnographic Museum, which is home to musical instruments, images of the ancient town, and other customs. After exploring the entire blue city on foot, you will go back to your hotel for the overnight. 

Day 10: Chefchaouen – Tangier: 

After having breakfast, we will drive to Tangier. We will pass by Tetouan, this city was built by refugees from Jewish and Muslim came from southern Spain on the fourteenth century. its medina listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. You would like to wander through its stalls and white buildings. You will find a unique tile work of city on the floors, pillars, and dados, which means the architecture of Sevilla, Andalusian, and Cordoba towns reflects the influence of the Moors.

Later, we continue our Marrakech 12 Days Grand Tour to Tangier, crossing the Rif mountains, a few miles from the see. Day 12: Transfer to the Airport in Casablanca or Marrakech
